Dog Shelters In Oregon Helping Save Dogs From Meat Market In South Korea! – Our Passion for Dogs

We all owe a big fat thank you to two Oregon dog shelters. They have went above and beyond – helping save sweet furry lives! You’re going to LOVE this story!

Over the holiday weekend two Oregon shelters helped the Humane Society of the U.S. take in dogs that were rescued from certain death. The Humane Society of the U.S. rescued over 250 dogs from a meat market in Wonju, South Korea.

The dogs that were rescued are all of generally mixed-breeds: Mastiffs, Jindo, Elkhounds and Labradors. The pups range in age from 4 month old babies to 2 years old.

The Humane Society flew all 250 dogs to San Francisco for safe haven but need help getting these babies into loving forever homes. That’s where the Oregon shelters have stepped in!
